Bomb Pot Solver review
A solver and trainer built only for double board bomb pots. We read every page of the site, played the free hands, and wrote down what it does well and where a live player will feel the gap. We sell a competing course, so read this with that in mind.
What it is
Bomb Pot Solver is a study tool with two halves. The solver half is a library of double board bomb pot spots that have been run to equilibrium: on 16 October 2026 the site counted 450 and more unique No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha bomb pots, for two to six players. The trainer half deals you hands from those solves and grades every street against the solved strategy. It is a web product, no download, and it is not a poker site; there is no real money play.
The accuracy claims are specific, which we like. Each board is certified against a bar that depends on table size, and the site publishes both the bar and the current result. That is a more honest way to present solver output than most training sites manage.
What it costs
Checked 16 October 2026 on the pricing page. Each monthly price was shown next to a higher crossed-out price; the lower one is what the page asked for.
- Free. Ten trainer hands a day and twelve sample solves opened in full. No card required.
- Library, $39 a month or $468 a year. The 450+ certified solves and the trainer.
- Pro, $99 a month or $1,188 a year. Adds custom solves, including PLO5 and PLO6.
- Elite, $199 a month or $2,388 a year. Adds custom solves for seven to nine players.
- Founder lifetime Library, $599 once, for the first fifty buyers. A Founder Pro rate of $80 a month was also listed.
Where it is strong
- It exists. Until 2026 there was no solver for this format at all. If you want to know what equilibrium play looks like on a specific double board flop, short handed, with four cards, this is the only place we know of that will show you.
- The trainer grades every street. Not just the flop. You can see where in the hand you drift from the solved line.
- Hold'em and Omaha. If your game deals double board Hold'em bomb pots, which some rooms do, this covers it. We do not.
- No invented testimonials. The site says it is new and has no reviews yet, and that it will not make them up. We respect that, and we hold ourselves to the same rule.
Where a live player will feel the gap
- No five-card library. The site says the library has no PLO5 or PLO6 boards. Five-card games are a large share of home game bomb pots. Five-card spots are custom solves, on the $99 and $199 tiers.
- Two to six players. Most live bomb pots are dealt to eight or nine. The library stops at six; seven to nine handed solves are an Elite feature. The game you actually sit in is the one that costs the most to study here.
- Solver answers are frequencies. An equilibrium says "bet 37 percent of the time with this hand". At a live table you get ten seconds, no device, and a table full of players who are nowhere near equilibrium. Turning solver output into something you can do at 1 a.m. is work the product leaves to you.
- Price. $39 a month is reasonable for a serious online player. For someone who plays one home game a week and wants to stop losing in bomb pots, it is a lot for a tool that does not model their table.
Who should buy it
- Online PLO players who meet bomb pots short handed. Yes. This is the product for you, and the Library tier is enough.
- Serious students who want to know the equilibrium for its own sake. Yes, and the free tier will tell you quickly whether you like the interface.
- Live players in an eight or nine handed four or five card game. Probably not, at least not yet. You would be paying for solves of a different game. What you need is a method you can run from memory, and a sense of how often the table actually has it. That is what we built, and the method, the frequency tables and the river arithmetic are free on this site.
How this review was made
We read the public pages of bombpotsolver.com on 16 October 2026 and recorded the prices and claims as shown. We did not buy a paid tier. The domain registration date comes from the public registry. We make Bomb Pot Coach, a competing product for live players at $9 for a month, $20 for three or $40 for life. Where our product is weaker, we have said so: we have no solver and no Hold'em. If a fact here is wrong or out of date, write to hello@bombpotcoach.com and we will correct it and say so.
Questions people ask
Is Bomb Pot Solver free?
There is a free tier with ten trainer hands a day and twelve sample solves opened in full. The paid tiers on the pricing page on 16 October 2026 were Library at $39 a month, Pro at $99 a month and Elite at $199 a month, each shown next to a higher crossed-out price, plus a Founder lifetime Library at $599 for the first fifty buyers.
Does Bomb Pot Solver cover five-card PLO?
Not in the library. The site says the library holds no PLO5 or PLO6 boards yet. Five and six card solves are available as custom solves on the Pro and Elite tiers.
Does Bomb Pot Solver cover full-ring games?
The library covers two to six players. Custom solves for seven to nine players are an Elite feature. A typical home game bomb pot is eight or nine handed, so the library does not model the table most live players sit at.
Who makes Bomb Pot Solver?
The site names no company or person, only a copyright line and a support address. The domain was registered in August 2026. There were no customer reviews on the site on 16 October 2026, and the site says so itself.
