Losing small
A budget for the night is not a limit on your play. It is what lets you keep playing well.
Every losing night in our books has the same shape: a bad first hour, then rebuys on top of rebuys with hands that would have been folds on a good night. The nights that ended in profit after a bad start had one thing in common: the player stopped at a number agreed before sitting down, stood up, and came back playing the method.
Six buy-ins is our line. It is a line, not a rule of poker; pick yours before the first hand and keep it. The course's night log, when it opens, records buy-ins and results so the line is a number you can see, not a feeling.
Against callers, aggression is not a bluff. It is value.
