Four cards and five
Same method. With five cards everyone has more, so your bar is higher.
Five-card double board is the same game with the volume turned up. Everybody's hand has ten two-card combinations instead of six, so somebody has a set on the flop about half the time instead of a third, and a flush when three of a suit flop almost always.
The colours are the same. What changes is how much you need to make the first bet: with four cards, orange alone is enough; with five, orange needs help from the other board, and two yellows no longer bet unless they are both straights. Facing a bet, the rule does not change at all, which tells you how strict it already was.
Today's drill deals five cards. Notice how often a hand that looks like a bet is a check.
With the nuts, a pot bet makes every draw pay 33 for a hand worth 20 to it.
Today's hand on the table
A deal that shows what today is about, with the method at your seat. Step through it, or let it run. Deal again for another.
